US: Corn rises first day in six as steep declines seen excessive

Corn climbed for the first time in six days on speculation recent price declines were excessive amid expectations of strong demand for animal feed and biofuel. Wheat and soybeans also rose.

DuPont, Genencor, University of Tennessee in ethanol pilot plant

Danisco said Wednesday that DuPont Danisco Cellulosic Ethanol LLC (DDCE) and the University of Tennessee (UT) Research Foundation, through its Genera Energy LLC, have announced a partnership to construct an innovative pilot-scale biorefinery and research and development facility for cellulosic ethanol in Vonore, Tennessee.
