Ahead of the curve

ACCELLERASE™ 1000 enzyme
ACCELLERASE™ 1000 is the first commercially available biomass enzyme specifically developed to provide biorefineries with an enzyme solution to help in the scale up from the laboratory to pilot and demonstration plants. This new breakthrough enzyme reduces complex lignocellulosic biomass into fermentable sugars. ACCELLERASE™ 1000 fills a large unmet need for a reliable biomass enzyme supply and offers the first true biomass enzyme solution for cellulosic ethanol production available today.

Features and Benefits

ACCELLERASE™ 1000 shows enhanced saccharification performance on a wide variety of feedstocks.
ACCELLERASE™ 1000 has the ability to function in either a simultaneous sacchari- fication and fermentation (SSF) process, a two-step sequential hydrolysis and fermentation (SHF) process, or a hybrid of the two processes.
ACCELLERASE™ 1000 is an unclarified liquid product that has had the production organism completely inactivated. The remaining nutrients from enzyme production are available to the yeast in addition to the fermentable sugars produced by saccharification. This may lead to faster ethanol fermentations, reduce the cost of ethanol fermentation raw materials, and possibly improve ethanol yields.
ACCELLERASE™ 1000 has been minimally formulated to ensure that enzyme formulation chemicals do not interfere with saccharification carbohydrate profile analysis or subsequent yeast fermentation.
ACCELLERASE™ 1000 contains high beta-glucosidase activity to minimize the amount of residual cellobiose. This may lead to higher rate of saccharification and ultimately to a faster ethanol fermentation, resulting in improved yields.
ACCELLERASE™ 1000 is significantly less expensive than previous laboratory-level options.
